My personality is laid back and fun... but also assertive (giving direction where needed), but I I find most of the magic happens when I am just capturing you being you ... doing your thing. My favorite clients think outside of the box, have their own unique style and don't want cookie cutter photos. When I'm not shooting weddings, I am hanging out with my kids (Lulu and Greta) or shooting personal work with my Yashica T4. I love traveling and spending time at home with my musician hubby and our daughters. We split our time between our two favorite cities - Brooklyn and Nashville!

FAQs
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use top of the line mirrorless and DSLR (Sony/Nikon/Canon) bodies with an array of fixed and zoom lenses and flashes, as well as a bunch of fun vintage 35mm and 120 film cameras. And we always carry backups of everything should we have any issues with our #1.
Do we get hi-res files?
Yes, all packages include hi-res digital images (as JPGs) so there are no additional costs after we deliver the photos. We deliver about 75-100 images per hour, so for 8 hours you get 600-800 photos.
How long does it take to get my photos?
10-12 weeks. We very carefully cull down from at least 2,000+ images from each event and we want everything to look awesome upon delivery!
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! We are always traveling for destination weddings and depending on your date, we may already be in your neck of the woods. So, be sure and contact us and we can discuss!!
What happens if you can't shoot our wedding?
None of our photographers have ever had to cancel or been sick for a wedding, but should anything unforeseen happen your 2nd shooter will cover it! All of our second shooters are lead shooters as well so you are in great hands. If we need to cancel well in advance we will give you the opportunity for a refund and to book another photographer... or help set you up with one of our colleagues if you need!
Do you have insurance?
Definitely! We are covered for up to $1,000,000 in General Liability Insurance for each occurrence and $2,000,000 for General Aggregate. Many venues require this, so just let us know and we can email them a copy of our COI.
How much film do you shoot with the add on?
This really depends on what we decide after our phone consultation. Some couples prefer super film heavy and others are good with our standard 'mostly digital + a few rolls of film' and end up with about 50 great artistic film shots throughout the day. If you'd like to upgrade to mostly film we can discuss how that affects the rate.
We are awkward in front of the camera....
We totally get that awkward feeling in front of the camera. We pride ourselves on making our couples feel super comfortable during our shoot! We are also very discreet with our cameras and are just kind of sneaking shots while walking around and hanging out, finding cool backdrops. We want you to have fun and we bring it - nothing too stuffy or awkward.
Should we do a First Look?
We leave this 100% up to you as a couple! It really depends on personal preference and we are totally cool either way. But we must say, having that private moment between you two before the ceremony does have its perks.
You'll still have butterflies: Many couples are concerned that if they do a First Look it will it take away from the feeling of excitement when they see one another walking down the aisle. No matter what, you will still be overwhelmed with all the emotions during the ceremony, but with a First Look you just have that moment a little earlier in the day and it can be even more special because it is just the two of you without an audience.
Don't miss the party: When doing the photos beforehand, we can schedule in plenty of time while nothing else is happening. That way we have more time for creative freedom and you're not having to miss out on your party! It can be a little stressful when you feel like you're having to rush to get back to your cocktail hour and the photos can reflect that. Plus, you spent all this time and money, carefully selecting all the delicious food and drinks - you should enjoy them too!
More Relaxed: I have found that most couples are much more relaxed and enjoy this time more when they are spending it with their favorite person in the world - as opposed to being separated most of the day! What I regret from my wedding day (not doing a First Look) was what little time I actually had alone with my husband before the craziness began.
Natural Light: We love shooting you in beautiful natural daylight, and in the winter months it is typically dark after the ceremony! Take advantage by allowing us time for photos earlier in the day.
Intimate: Keep it just the two of you! There is nothing more awkward than having an audience for these intimate photos and I promise you'll enjoy this quiet time together on what can be a hectic day. The wedding party can join in afterwards for photos with everyone together :)

Once you're ready to seal the deal, we will send over a contract to sign and require a 50% deposit to book the date.
We accept Venmo payment (as debit) and checks. If you prefer to use a credit card there will be a 3% charge.
